Btcminex implements a strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) framework to protect the integrity of the platform and prevent misuse by criminal actors.
01. Customer Identification (KYC)
We deploy tiered verification procedures based on transaction volume and risk profiles:
Verified mobile number, unique device fingerprint, and bound payment identifier for standard retail trading.
Government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN) required for high-volume withdrawals exceeding institutional thresholds.
02. Automated Transaction Monitoring
Our risk management engine continuously analyzes deposit flows, withdrawal patterns, and IP geolocations. Flags are automatically raised for:
- Rapid deposits followed by immediate withdrawal requests without trading turnover.
- Multiple accounts sharing identical bank/UPI account destinations.
- Transfers originating from mixers, darknet markets, or sanctioned blockchain addresses.
03. Sanctions & Prohibited Jurisdictions
Btcminex does not onboard residents or citizens of OFAC-sanctioned countries, FATF high-risk territories, or regions with statutory prohibitions against quantitative digital contract exchanges.
